One of our team members, Tracey Clarke, is registered Severely Visually Impaired/Blind! She is "The Blind Boater", and lives nomadically on a narrowboat with her husband, Tim, and Guide Dog Oakley.
Tracey is happy to share her story about how her faith gave her the confidence to fulfill God's calling onto the waterways despite her disability. She does not refer to herself as disabled - rather, differently re-enabled!
During the Ellesmere mission, she will be telling her story at an evening meeting, and about life on the waterways with a disability. She will also talk about the work of Guide Dogs, and how Oakley has changed her life. There will be plenty of time for Q&A. Admission is completely free. No need to book. Just turn up - and bring your friends!
